Ranma 1/2 by Rumiko Takahashi Ranma 1/2 is the story of a martial artist who falls into a magical spring that curses him to turn into a girl. The curse can be activated with hot and cold water, which seems to appear at all the wrong times. Other curses include cats, pandas, ducks, pigs, monsters, goddesses etc. On top of this, Ranma has multiple fiancees and rivals, bizarre relatives and lots of unusual martial arts techniques. Always a lot of fun, this is one of the best mangas i have ever read.
General info: The Japanese version is complete, with 38 volumes published by Shonen Sunday. The English version is owned by Viz Communications, and there are currently 13 graphic novels as well as the anime and OAVs. Ranma 1/2 is also available in Chinese, and probably several other languages as well.
