Why choose Rumiko Takahashi? Takahashi is one of Japan's most popular manga artists, and has been for many years. Her stories are usually comedies (although she has written some serious/scary titles such as the mermaid series) Her characters are her strength, and they have gained cult followings, from the main ones to the most minor. Takahashi writes for mostly a younger audience, but anyone can read her books.
IF you don't want to bother looking up any of the other artists, at least look up Rumiko's works. She is definitely worth your time. |
